Combine harvester chain is an indispensable transmission mechanism of combine harvester. Its work will directly affect the normal work and performance of all parts of the harvester, so it is extremely important in the use and maintenance work.
The maintenance methods of the combined harvesting chain are as follows:
1. The chain wheel should be installed on the shaft without skewing and swinging. The end faces of the two sprockets in the same transmission assembly should be in the same plane. When the center distance of sprocket is less than 0.5 m, the allowable deviation is 1 mm. If the center of the sprocket exceeds 0.5m, the allowable deviation is 2mm. However, it is not allowed to rub the tooth side of the sprocket. If the two wheels are braided too large, it is easy to produce chain and accelerate wear. When replacing the sprocket, the offset must be carefully checked and adjusted.
2. If the chain is too tight, it will increase the power consumption, and the bearing is easy to wear; if the chain is too loose, it is easy to jump off and break. The tightness of the chain is as follows: lift or press down from the middle of the chain, and the center distance between the two sprockets is about 2% - 3%.
3. If the new chain is too long or elongated after use, it is difficult to adjust. It can be disassembled according to the situation, but it must be even. The link should pass through the back of the chain and the locking plate should be inserted outside. The opening of the locking plate should be opposite to the direction of rotation.
4. Chain wheel wear is serious, should be replaced with new sprocket and new chain at the same time, to ensure good meshing. New chains or sprockets cannot be replaced separately. Otherwise, it will cause bad meshing and accelerate the wear of new chain or sprocket. When the tooth surface of the sprocket is worn to a certain extent, it should be turned over in time (referring to the adjustable surface used by the sprocket). Extend the service life.
5. The old chain can not be mixed with a part of the new chain, otherwise it is easy to break the chain due to impact in the transmission.
6. The chain should be filled with lubricating oil in time. The lubricant must enter the fit gap between the roller and the inner sleeve to improve working conditions and reduce wear.
7. When the machine is stored for a long time, the chain should be removed, cleaned with kerosene or diesel oil, and then stored in a dry place with oil or butter to prevent corrosion.
